Allison's
work is available in custom sized giclee prints. The
term "giclee" is derived from the French
word meaning "to spray." A giclee print
is known as "the next best thing to an original"
in the art world. The process uses high resolution
digital scans and professional inkjet printers to
create a reproduction on canvas, water color paper,
photo paper, etc. The prints are produced using archivcal
ink and then sprayed with a UV coating. This ensures
that they will last 100 plus years. Allison's Giclees
are enhanced by hand, giving them a true likeness
to the original. It can actually be very difficult
to tell the difference between an original and a giclee
reproduction.
